14 Day Emt Course

14 Day Emt Course - I needed the 5 month version. If you're going to short cut your way through education, how can we trust you won't do that with patient care? The 6 month basic course is the same number of hours as the 2 week. I can't imagine you'd retain much of your knowledge for very long after cramming for 2 weeks. In my opinion the student is better served 8 hours a day for 14 days in a row.versus 3/4 hours per night for 2 nights a week for months. This is a bit faster than most i've seen but i know a lot of the local places offer it to college students during the summer months usually a month and a half monday thru friday, 8hrs a day 14 days of emt school seems a bit quick and i can't speak for said programs but. Now, i'm in the navy, and the navy offers this type of training also, and coincidentally, also happens to be about two weeks, give a few days maybe. I observed yesterday and 75% of the class was from out of state so there is bound to be someone in here familiar with the book. A 14 day emt course? And whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saved an entire world.

It is my opinion that they would be cranking out nremt's that really didn't know much. The 6 month basic course is the same number of hours as the 2 week. I thought this was amusing if not rediculous. I live in oklahoma city, ok fyi. In my opinion the student is better served 8 hours a day for 14 days in a row.versus 3/4 hours per night for 2 nights a week for months. We have run this program for almost 3 years.
